It was difficult to identify the card for the letter E, though once found it was readily apparent that it was the right card. 

A researcher at the Newberry Library located a copy of the original image in the Large Letter production file job jacket.

The Sugar Loaf pinnacle in Winona is a prominent feature of the area and was used in dozens of other postcards of the era. It may be one of the most distinctive, if lesser known, features in Minnesota.
